Nba Jam Arcade Machine Mini

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

I picked up a 2023 M2 Pro Mac Mini 16G / 1 TB. I have been on Mac for what seems forever. I am moving from an 3.2 core i7 2018 Mac mini. First...free overnight shipping with signature. Perfect.... computer is not going to a porch pirate. The machine is awesome. I expect to hold on to this for several years. I perfect this form factor over the Mac Studio. This machine is so fast. it boots in about 15 seconds. The Apple Logo and progress bar at boot time, barely spend any time on screen before the desktop appears and the machine is up and running. There is nothing holding this Mac back. I am really pleased with it. B&H Photo... they are awesome and I have my eye on a few more things I need. No regrets!!

I bought this Mini to replace my 9 year-old Mini, which for some reason had become dog-slow. (ha!) Anyway, this machine is very fast and since it is two OS versions past what I could upgrade to on my old machine, much improved in levels of intuitiveness. I guess my last lingering attachment to Windows is finally gone. :) I'm not a power user at all, but I do expect to be able to more with more ease. Oh, and the delivery was spot on and great. Zero complaints and will likely use B&H again.

An excellent device. I couldn't be happier with it. I am in the process of digitizing many video tapes of my wife's career in broadcasting but ran into a problem when trying to use equipment from JVC which requires firewire to tether it to my workstation. Windows 10 has no support for this, no machine drivers, so I had to find another way and the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio HD Mini saved the day. It was super simple to set up (my workstation is Thunderbolt 3 equipped and it is simple to use. The results are top drawer. I could have used a USB device like Elgato but that can record in MP4 only and I wanted to get the full resolution ingested into the machine. I also have HD equipment and the Mini handles that as well. I couldn't be happier.

I love the mac mini - the basic M2 $599 machine is more than powerful enough for my needs. I'm still shocked at how little footprint it occupies on my desk compared to the 2009 desktop mac pro it replaced.
