[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG's latest UltraGear 32GQ750-B is a beautiful gaming monitor that supports 144Hz refresh rate with AMD-Sync. This model is a good fit for most gaming needs and next-gen console gaming. The 4K monitor has a maximum resolution of (3840x2160) with bright and vivid backlighting. This monitor class meets most of the PC and console gamers' needs. The monitor assembly only took a few minutes since it was a toolless setup, so no tools were required to assemble it. The monitor also has a pivoting mount for landscape and portrait options and height adjusting. This monitor has three input display ports: 2 HDMI 2.1 and 1 PC DP port. The monitor has a 3.5mm audio port as well. I'm more of a console gamer than a PC, and I was impressed with the range of vibrant colors and refresh rate this monitor put out. The images were clear, and the colors were bright. Usually, when I play games on my TV I can see some latency motion blur, but with this monitor's 144Hz refresh rate, the images were crisp and clean, partly due to the HDR support from the console and the monitor. I was also impressed with the volume range that's built into the monitor. The speakers built in impressed me with how loud the volume can get with a screen this size. This card is perfect for Unraid and VM's. The 4 separate controllers show up in Unraid in their own IOMMU groups allowing me to pass 1 port to each of my 4 VM's. You need to use the later version though, apparently the earlier cards don't do this. I'm using a Fracal Design 7 case and haven't had the same issues others have had with the ports being obstructed. I actually prefer the vertical ports as they appear to be tidier and easier for cable management when using all 4 ports. Suggestion: An 8 port model would be nice. 2 ports per controller. And support for qualcomm fast charging. 5 |
