AgfaPhoto Agfapan APX 100 Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) - Have recently returned to film photography and couldn't be more pleased with this one. Great all around film. Also like that it's modern day manufactured film and not the expired film one was forced to use.

I really like Professional T-Max 100 Black and White Negative Film (35mm) because it has really good quality. It has 36 exposures that makes it really useful. I used to use the one with 24 exposures but this one is much better and almost at the same price.

Negative Supply makes a very comprehensive system for scanning film in all formats by using a digital camera and a macro lens. I needed to scan 35mm, so I bought the 35mm LED light source, the 35mm Pro Film Carrier, and the Basic Riser (to which I mounted my digital camera). Everything worked perfectly! By using this system, negatives can be scanned quite quickly, doing an entire roll in a few minutes. Mounting the camera on the riser makes the camera perfectly parallel to the film. The film carrier keeps the film flat and, combined for a good macro lens, my scans were very sharp. Negative Supply's website (www.negative.supply) has a complete explanation of the entire system, including videos on how the various components work.

This is great film. Not Kodachrome but the best in negative 35mm available. Gorgeous latitude, color and fine grain.

I use this scanner for archiving a lot of 35mm Kodachrome and Fuji Velvia Slides. The color representation is excellent and the overall quality is very impressive. I also scan 35mm color negative film strips. The accurate color and brilliant end result are much better than the original prints. I have found the included EPSON Scan software adequate and easy to use so far. There is optional SilverFast SE Plus 8 software included yet I have not used it yet due to negative online consumer reviews. If it does what it says it will do on the packaging, my slides would hopefully look that much more impressive. The two things that I wish were different are the included slide and negative holders that sit on top of the scanner's main glass area. Each slide needs to be positioned just right in its respective place in the tray or the software crops the image more that you may want. If the slide is positioned in the tray with just a little bit of the white holder showing around the transparency, the software cropping does not happen. I also wish the film strip holder did not have an extra layer of glass and that you could just place the negatives in the holder by themselves. In all fairness to EPSON however, I did not notice any degradation of the final image though after the scanning process was complete. All in all, this is a very good scanner and I would have purchased it all over again.

I often will get 37 or 38 frames on a roll of 35mm film, so it's useful to have negative sleeves that will hold more than 36. I've used Print File negative sleeves for many years. Negatives from the 1980s are still as printable as they were 30-35 years ago because I stored them in these archival pages.

I've been using Print File negative sleeves for film formats from 35mm to 4x5-in. for over 30 years. They are made of neutral, archival plastic that preserves negatives effectively.

After using the B&W negative film, I have found that it is by far my favorite 35mm to use. It being my first time using a 35mm I dove straight in with my knowledge of film with hopes of getting the best finished product and I was blown away by the results. I started running around the streets of Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan snapping pictures here and there. Once I was finished with my rolls I went to get them developed praying everything would turn out at least medium quality, BUT I was surprised when I received my prints and my only thought was, those cannot be mine they were the best quality I had seen in quite a long time. I have since sold most prints to certain people whom I collaborated with during shoots and they loved them. Needless to say I will always have a few Ilford B&W rolls in my bag at all times AND i will always buy them at B&H.
