Netgear Router Firmware Upgrade No Internet Connection

The Netgear nighthawk M1 mobile router works great for GPS internet connection, to get the job done.

I upgraded to the Gigablast internet and so I needed to upgrade my modem (Netgear CM700) and my router (Nighthawk X4s) I trust Netgear products because I have NEVER had an issue with modems or routers from Netgear. The New Modem (CM2000) works perfectly with the Nighthawk AX12/12. Super fast internet and streaming. I am happy with our upgrade.

I bought this cable just to have a more stable internet connection from my main router. It work perfect. No more drop signal during zoom meetings.

I have become a genuine fan of Synology over the past decade. Starting with a DS-209 NAS I bought in 2009 (that's still in use today), through the DS-716+ NAS that I bought in 2016; both units firmware have been supported throughout that entire time and have been dead nuts reliable. Not one issue in over 11 years. As I was already familiar with Synology's DSM, and I like it, I went ahead and replaced a sketchey Netgear Nighthawk AC1750; which itself, replaced another sketchy 2 year old Netgear router. The Synology RT2600 relieved all of my wifi related issues at the limits of the Netgear's wifi range, ended our 3x ROKU stream buffering issues, and made managing far easier with their superior DSM layout, and versatile setup options. Couple the fact that Synology continues firmware support for all of my old Synology hardware, and that none of their hardware has let me down, is reason for me to continue purchasing Synology products. I like this router so much, I bought a scond one for use in my company's satellite office. I will be purchasing another next year to replace our reliable Tenda AC1600 Shibby Tomato based router. I also like Synology's simple to use remote administration iPhone app. It is intuitive, easy to use. I have it teamed up with my Netgear Nighthawk router. Major lesson learned is keep your firmware updated and you will be operating seamlessly. (I learned my lesson). Highly recommended

after having many complex issues with my old Netgear after firmware upgrade, and then a new Netgear being just defective, and looking at prices of higher end consumer routers, I decided to go wired with this one. Not a glitch, and setup was not that hard with wizards. I added a wireless gateway to feed my phones/smart devices(ruckus on ebay) and ended up paying less for both than a gaming router - for a semipro setup that is super stable. Very happy!
