Network Interface Controllers

I bought this tape to label controls on MIDI controllers and I/O's on my audio interface. It keeps everything organized so when someone other than my self is looking an input or output they can find it easily. The tape is bright enough that if something is written on it it can be read in dim lighting. It's also strong enough to hold something down or secure something in a position so it doesn't fall.

This is a great addition to an existing Dante system. Installation is easy, just need a 2 hole in the ceiling tile and connect CAT6 cable with RJ45. The unit is smaller than anticipated, but the microphone is super sensitive and picks up the entire board room with clarity. The plug-and-play capability of the Dante system and interface is also nice, as it provides power to up to 4 connected devices. A single ceiling mic and interface connected to our existing network has replaced the need to set up table-top mics and a multi-channel mizer and removed the worry about users accidentally muting their mics during a meeting. With some additional Dante interface devices, users can easily connect over our network to ceiling mics with ease. A point of advice for those new to Dante, be sure you are comfortable with the environment requirements, they might seem overwhelming at first, but they are easy to build out and work with existing network infrastructure.

Netgear switches have never let me down. These semi-managed switches are great for a little more control on your network. The web interface is easy to use and get information from. Speeds are fast as expected and it auto shuts down ports as needed. Solid build.

it is located between cable modem and rest of network, openvpn form ios and andorid seems to work on my 1st attempt. however, one need to read a lot of forum post to not make pilot mistakes, GUI interface does not expose all the features, CLI interface need to be used for openvpn setup.

Plugged in and it works. Using it to interface a PC and POE camera to my network. No issues attributable to the switch so far. I chose Netgear because I have an older , smaller basic switch from netgear that has been rock solid 24/7 use for years.

This is a very nice router and is pretty feature-packed for the price. If you are familiar with networking concepts, you only have to learn the interface, which is not bad. If you are not familiar with networking concepts, it doesn't take long to get up to speed with this device. I love the comprehensive phone app that interfaces to the device and provides easy-to-use push notifications to make updates to the router in real time (e.g. new device connects to your network and you can immediately allow or block it) The parental safeguards are pretty good too for scheduling device time limits on your network or preventing access to content on the web. The only thing I would complain about, and it is a small complaint, is that the web interface vs the app is so different. It just takes a little getting used to. At any rate, I highly recommend this router if you need more than just basic router capabilities for your home or small office.

Plugged it in and it works! I put this into my PR750RTXL2U and it auto-configured itself to recognize and connect to my network. Connecting to the card/UPS from the web-based applications was straightforward--at least from the perspective of the card. The software is easy to use but it's a bit obtuse to figure out what you need. You can connect to the unit via the IP address on your network and have one comprehensive maintenance app, or you can download the PowerPanel Business Edition and connect with a localhost address on your home network and have another entirely different interface for managing the unit. The two software packages are NOT aware of each other so, for example, if you set power outage email alerts in one interface, the other interface is unaware of that. That having been said, both interfaces are very easy to use and give me pretty much as complete a control over a UPS as I can envision needing for my Unifi home enterprise gateway and security cameras. Note: This is NOT the cyber cloud card you need for managing the UPS from mobile device apps. That took me another 2 hours of fruitless searching, downloading, enrolling, and testing, to discover.

I used this to add a network interface to my Mac Mini. I simply plugged it in and it was recognized and configurable by the Mac. Provided full gigabit speed on the new interface. Very Happy.

Was told by B&H that this is rack mountable and came with ears. They responded by email and checked with Hikvision and assured me it was rack mountable and came with ears. When I received this unit, it is not rack mountable. So buy a shelf for your rack. Connected this to my network switch (not modem/router) and all cameras are hooked directly to the network switch. Access is through a web interface so the Hikvision menu is a non-issue for me. A couple of features on the Hikvision menu are not available on the web interface (or I haven't found them yet). Had a bad disk that I purchased so recommend running the Hikvision disk scan immediately after formatting. Otherwise it's a fairly simple unit.
