New Blackmagic Camera Nab 2015

I ordered this microphone before I left NAB 2015 and I'm happy with it. It sounds so much better than the onboard DSLR mic and I just wanted something that would give me better nat sound and not pick up any camera sounds. I wish the fuzzy fit over the top of the foam windsock just so I didn't have to seperate them and possibly lose it.

This audio recorder has been a very nice addition to my field gear. I went to NAB 2015 to see the DR-70D. I ordered it before I left the convention. I'm very impressed with how it sounds and how easy it is to operate. I'm taking it to India in a week and hope it can withstand the trip. I'm confident it will do fine.

Hollyland does it again! The new Lark C1 Duo was first introduced to me at this years NAB New York. I was sold on it immediately, Finally a wireless phone mic system that I can use with my DJI Osmo! The sound quality is great and look forward to using it for years to come!

I’ll admit, I didn’t think much of this camera when it was introduced at NAB, I mean I’ve never heard of the company before... flash forward to the present when my DP couldn’t make a shoot and handed me his camera (Zcam E2) to cover. I literally learned the camera on the spot based on an easy to navigate menu. The images coming out of this little beast was unlike I’ve seen before, like a proper cinema camera stripped down to bare bones... since then, I’ve happily purchased my own and have shot in a variety of situations. I recently shot a documentary and the camera held up quite nicely. Zcam also has a close Facebook community where the CEO and engineers actually listen to your concerns. Every update is a great surprise. No regrets!

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

I have visited NAB for the last 8 years, trying to stay current on technology. I end up coming home and buying something that needs replacing or upfitting. I did not go to NAB this year thinking my tripod head was that item. In fact I was pretty pleased with what I had (another current Manfrotto head). Then I tried the Nitrotech on a set of sticks at NAB with a camera that matched mine for weight. Oh my goodness. What a great product. Smooth, holds every position you put it in. Adjust it correctly, and the drag becomes just some resistance so you don't move the camera past your spot. A great value for the price. I bought it. Couldn't be happier with its performance in my rig. Nice lighted bubble, easy to set up, a joy to use, well-priced for the performance you get. My only complaint: the head is a little taller than my other tripod head, by about 3/4, and the controls end up consuming more area in the bag, to the point I may have to move up one size on the bag to not have to squeeze the tripod into my existing Manfrotto MBAG90PN bag. I think I'm going to move this bag onto my spare system over the long haul and buy the next bigger Manfrotto bag available. That's nobody's fault and is not a design flaw of the head. It's just not the most compact head you've seen. It would not be the head I'd choose for that trip overseas, nor would I choose it if I wanted a light weight tripod system. Again, this is not a design issue to me, which is why I give it a 5 star rating.
