New Control Game Video

I can now control what, when, and how I watch video.

This may not be the most useful review as I have only used the arm once, but it did very well. I mounted the arm behind a backboard for a college basketball game in New Mexico and it didn't budge at all. I had one of my 5d mark III's with the battery grip and a 15mm fisheye mounted on it and it put up with the weight of it just fine even through multiple dunks, warm-ups, and players colliding with the goal. No complaints so far, will be using it again many times this season and so far I trust it to continue getting the job done.

New features in the T5 made receiving it better than any Christmas morning. I really love the new CA feature that allows some control with a lot of speed. Great camera.

I was in New York City in early November and stopped by B&H for a look-see. I hadn't planned to buy anything but just have a look around. I came across this camera and the Tech was more than pleased to tell me and show me what it could do. I found out that this camera has been around for a while and is still first in its class despite the technical advances over the years. This speaks very much to Sony's vision for their cameras. The Tech said this was an amazing camera and I have to agree that it is amazing and so much more. This really is a one size fits all camera for people who just want a camera that will cover a broad range of photographic needs without having to haul out several lenses and some of those lenses being heavy and difficult to control without a tripod. This camera's main feature is its image stabilization which means a lot to me and my ability to control shots. The viewfinder is another excellent feature. It's bright, crisp and clear. The camera itself is surprisingly light in weight and has a great grip. The features on this camera are too many to list and so far, I have only tried a few of them out. I am very pleased with this camera and would highly recommend it to photographers looking for a good all-round solution to carrying a lot of camera stuff around when answer is available from the great folks at B&H.

New computer has Thunderbolt, so this adapter is just what I needed to hook things up for importing video.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

I recently bought one of these to bring my work to the next level and I'm quite impressed. Having full control of my audio is a game changer. The mics pick up range is really impressive compared to the VideoPro mic I have been using. Highly recommend this addition to your tool belt.
