After several efforts to make an iPad more than just a browsing and gaming gadget, I dove deeper with the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. iOS 13 convinced me that the iPad might be more useful than previously. The iOS makes a big difference, but having a real keyboard to use with it, made the iPAD Pro a home run. I'm very satisfied with this keyboards performance and functionality. The Apple smart keyboard is too limited for my needs (think: emaciated super model) and the big bulky overbuilt keyboards negate the advantages of the iPads diminutive size. I can't speak to it's durability as I've only had it a couple of months. So far so good. I'm actually using the iPad Pro more and more for emails, writing and everyday tasks that I gave up on with my previous iPAD 2 and iPAD Air 2. It is quickly becoming a replacement for my MBP for mobile computing needs. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro, along with an Apple Pencil is a big part of that transition. 5 |

This is for sure a major upgrade fore me from 1gen iPad Pro 10.5". iPadOS 16.2 is making this ever so close to a full laptop replacement for most, though it's still missing support for full pro level apps such as FinalCut Pro, there are decent alternative offering in the App Store that would meet the basic needs. Only gripe, Apple premium price for premium product. Gotta pay if you want to play... 5 |
