Used it on a trip to New Mexico for the Hot Air Balloon event this fall. Helped the colors of fall jump out at you.

The uv I bought to protect my lenses from the New Mexico dust. It works. Polarizer is working just fine too

I took this piece of kit out into the New Mexico desert (an abandoned dump, actually) to cover a fast moving news story on the BlackMagic 4k camera w/ EF lenses. It allowed me to quickly and accurately hit challenging exposure changes while maintaining pleasing backgrounds. It also stood up to 80mph winds with blowing dust very well. While it is no replacement for a proper mattebox and a full set of 4x5 filters, this piece of gear will save your * when budget or time will not allow a full crew served solution.

Shooting up here on the high deserts of New Mexico, I've always used a circular polarizer instead of a plain UV. The Hoya warming polarizer, mounted on my 70-300 apo, is superior to my polarizer on my standard lens. The touch of warmer colors combined with the circuler polarizing control is just what I've needed at our high altitude, bright sun and multi-colored skies and vistas.

Just recently purchased for trip out west ie. New Mexico and Colorado. Kept our cooler going all week and it charged everything no problems. The solar panels worked well too, heavy and big though. Can't see what im typing so hope everything is spelled right . Overall good product great addition for overloading.

I got mine as an upgrade/replacement for the workhorse 7D Mark ii I'd been using for sports photography for a couple years (and over 200k shutter actuations!). This is a HUGE upgrade, especially in low light conditions! It arrived in a Friday and, after a couple settings, put it to work the next day with NO issues. My keeper rate was over 90% so I HAD to choose the best of the best. The next week I was driving through New Mexico and stopped at a town that was once on US Route 66 and snagged a few shots of some of the abandoned house. Again, keeper rate was in the 90% range...100% in low light! (I prefer to shoot in natural light). The file size is big enough to allow for some cropping when using a zoom lens at longer focal range. This IS a full frame after all! I'd been putting off adding new glass to my kit. I have even more reason now. Attached images were from a 30 minute excursion around and into some of the abandoned houses in one of the towns lost to Interstate 40 in New Mexico. All shot with natural light with minimal post adjustments to exposure, contrast and a Monochrome conversion.

Got this recently and took on a trip to the mountains of New Mexico. Space was very limited, so this was my long lens. I used it for wildlife, portraits, and landscapes with great results. Super sharp! I have the 56 as well, but left it at home this trip. I'm glad I have both.

This may not be the most useful review as I have only used the arm once, but it did very well. I mounted the arm behind a backboard for a college basketball game in New Mexico and it didn't budge at all. I had one of my 5d mark III's with the battery grip and a 15mm fisheye mounted on it and it put up with the weight of it just fine even through multiple dunks, warm-ups, and players colliding with the goal. No complaints so far, will be using it again many times this season and so far I trust it to continue getting the job done.

I bought the in reach specifically for an elk hunt in north New Mexico in areas above 10,000 feet with no cell service. It worked better than I expected and had great connection and awesome battery life during the entire five day hunt.

I recently used this lens in the badlands of New Mexico and the one feature I was most impressed with was the color richness. Of course as a Zeiss lens, it is tack sharp with the purest whites. Other than the natural distortions of a 15mm lens at the perimeter of the image it is perfect! Love it!
