This mic is great for the Sony Alpha 3000. It really improves the sound quality from the internal mic.

I use it for photo and video back up with SD cards. Portable and compact. But my Sony a6000 camera's Wi-Fi is not compatible.

I recently purchased the Sony A7IV after regular use of my Canon DSLRs. The A7IV is portable, lightweight and versatile, allowing me to move from taking stunning photos to recording video content for my clients which range from fashion to hospitality. Moving from photo to video shooting is smooth and does not break my workflow. I get to focus on capturing the moments. The kit is fantastic as-is, but I also purchased a 50mm 1.8 lens which I've been accustomed to shooting with. All in all, I would highly recommend the purchase if you're in the market for a mirrorless camera.

Wow! This thing is perfect for my Sony 3000 Cam. I attached a Tascam power bank below it. Works great with the handle. Reminds me of the 70's when all Movie Film Cameras had these.

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!
