New Team Based Shooter

I'm a wedding and portrait shooter so I choose my gear based on versatility. This lens is killer for ring shots and details, but can be a strong portrait lens as well. The 2.8 is a bit slower than I'd like, however the IS can balance your exposure when necessary. Incredibly sharp at all apertures and a nice beautiful bokeh. Buy this lens or you'll regret it.

I purchased this stand based on DSLR Video Shooter's Studio on a single stand video. I'm in a temp setup and the room is carpeted. Still easy to move the rig around and get it in place. I haven't had to move it outside the room, but it should collapse nicely so I can easily breakdown my rig and transport it for different shots. Not a pro, just a techie who needs something for home and then for work.

I use the product for everyday typing and a few videogames including first person shooter, and some dota based games. Its great for everything.Pros: Super thin. Quiet. Laptop-like feel illuminated. Small, so will fit almost any desk. (not for keyboard) ... Also very comfortable.Cons: I wish that i could make it a little higher off the desk but i can put something under it if i need to.

I bought the Furman PST-8 surge protector based on the recommendation of Wirecutter, a New York Time supported website with reviews that I find helpful. This specific Furman surge protector was cited as an upgrade option for those who wanted strong protection. i.e., for those looking for a best buy. Of course, I will not know if it is worth the extra money until the house is subject to a surge that knocks out the other high quality surge protectors and not the Furman PST-8!
