New Vintage Look Backpack Camera Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New technology in a vintage package. This camera went to my tween daughter and she was so excited to receive it. It was easy to install the batteries and was basically ready to go right out of the box. It took great pictures with an old school vibe. It was very easy for her to operate and she had it down pat in seconds. A little larger than a regular camera, but slimmer than the instant cameras of the past. Lots of nostalgia seeing this camera in action. It printed pictures quickly and crisply. What a fun product and really cool too! 5 |

Look, do you ever have one of those camera bags where you've got the camera and one part and the lens in another part and maybe your rear controls in a separate case and your batteries and power supply in a separate case because things just don't fit in one bag well in this one everything fits and it's stackable with others, come with a really cool flashlight on a beaner, highly recommended. 5 |

Keep looking at camera bags, but can never find the right one? Look no more. This does it all. It's lightweight, holds a lot of if you want it to, or collapses down to a smaller size when it's not full. It hugs your body and is confortable to wear. Especially after you break them in, they feel good to the touch but are still tough. One is a camera bag, another is used as a diaper bag. The side pockets are great. If you're worried about protection (I wouldn't), get Domke wrap(s) too. 5 |

Bought 4 of these 2 years ago and they have been great. New ones had the same model number but were different from the others. Look like they will work just as good or better. I use them for my own heavy duty Background stands. 5 |

Like many photographers I have owned millions of camera bags. Mostly shoulder bags. Cheap ones and expensive ones. The thing is, I don't just take pictures, I also have a day job and like to travel light when flying. My last camera bag is a Billingham Hadley Pro and even with the strap pad, it's not comfortable with heavy gear. I almost wanted to throw it out when walking around Vegas with it. So I grabbed a BYOB 10 Backpack insert and stuck it into a Gregory Rhune 22 backpack and it's life changing. In the insert I can carry my Canon R6 with RF 24-105 F4 attached, RF 15-30mm and RF 100-400mm plus a speedlight. That leaves the rest of the backpack for a jacket, laptop, and any other random stuff I might want to carry. If I don't want to carry my camera but want to use the backpack (say, for work), I take the insert out and put it away - fully loaded and ready to go! It's brilliant and will be buying a BYOB 9 also for when I needs less camera stuff. 5 |

I am a professional engineering consultant and I do a lot of camera photography as well. I needed a backpack instead of a briefcase. I searched high and low for all sorts of camera bags but none could offer a sweet spot to serve as a dual camera bag and office bag backpack. Many camera bags would focus too heavily on camera gear and little on business functionality. I have very high end and expensive professional camera gear but only use four prime lenses. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to change my focus from trying to find a camera bag that does business to finding a business bag that I can also use for my camera gear. Equipped with some lens pouches, I can securely place my expensive camera gear in my backpack and have all the functionality of a mobile office as well. The Samsonite Openroad backpack does not disappoint and I have already bought the 15.6 inch backpack as well as the larger 17.3 inch backpack. Love it, Love it, Love it. I hope Samsonite keeps this functional and comfortable to carry Openroad backpack in their line up for many years to come as I have referred many to buy this well made backpack. Good job Samsonite !!!! Thank you.... 5 |

Best bag I’ve owned (and like many of you, I’ve had more camera bags than I can count). Tried quite a few messenger bags before (included latest and expensive PD), was never happy. Settled with Retrospective 7 now and took the opportunity of giving away and/or selling my other bags. I’m just keeping my also awesome Lowepro Pro Tactic backpack for occasions that backpack is more suitable. But most cases the Retrospective 7 is my go-to bag for a combination (not always at the same time) of 5D3 (with RRS L bracket always installed), 24L, 85L f/1.4, 135L, 70-200L f/4 II, 580EX II flash, filter case, TC-80N3 shutter release controller, extra battery, cards, etc. I can even wrap my RRS TFC-14 & BH-30 rig on top of it (although not ideal) with some make-shift straps I did just so I can be hands-free for a while…I highly recommend this bag for the look, quality, design, attention to detail & functionality. 5 |
