I sold my Sony a6400 back in beginning of 2021 for the Sony a7iii for the upgrade to full frame but in many ways to me it felt like a downgrade. All of the amazing Ai auto focus was gone and other features. So when the A7 iv came out I did a lot of research and had to get it. The camera has served me extremely well and I am beyond satisfied with its performance. It is more customizable and the new menu system is fast to learn. I am mostly happy with the Active Stabilization mode. Wow is it a beast! I use the camera for freelance video work and for my studio photography. It handles both tasks and is the best upgrade from the A7iv if you have the budget. 5 |

It is now 2021 and I just bought this lens from B&H used department. I'm telling you it is the sharpest lens that I own right now, and the colors are fantastic, I love this little lens. And yes it is a must if you use Sony a7 cameras, the AF is on the spot all the time! 5 |

I really like the newest Sony Lens 24-240 released on March 15, 2015. My initial shots with the lens are sharp, covering a range that will be perfect for my trip to Australia. I plan to pack this lens and the 35 lens as the two choice to travel with. The 24- 240 lens would be my first choice to purchase with the Sony A7II for a hobby photographer like myself. Since the middle of 2021 I have been waiting for this camera. The zoom is amazing just as advertised... it's a bit heavy though but I have a strong hubby that can help me to carry it. I am not a camera expert but for what I want it....birding.....it's a dream come true.... I can upload photos to my phone, upload them to merlin bird id app and voil.....I get the bird species....
