I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!

About Sony LCD-PX470. I have purchased a few recorders that have cost over twice the price I paid for this one. From Sony, Zoom, Olympus, and Tascam. This is very easy to use. Has great settings for sensitivity and a great size. Sound is crystal clear, lots of advanced options and features.Very well made device! In few minutes all settings were set and I started recording. There is no light for the screen, and that’s HUGE negative point with no logical explanation.LIke most Sony products it is well made and the Internal mics are excellent.Mic Lavanier turned out great.Sony LCD-PX470,great product.

About the same size as a Sony A6xxx crop-series camera, the A7C is appreciably smaller and lighter than its other full-frame brethren. The empirical specifications don't really convey this; it feels MUCH smaller and lighter than the numbers say, and as such I find it an absolute joy to use. The sensor is nothing short of miraculous, with as much dynamic range and color depth as one could want. Resolution (24 megapixels) is plenty sufficient for everyday use. Indeed, the viewfinder is on the small side, but I got used to it quickly and didn't find it a hindrance whatsoever. It's far better than not having one. I'm also a shoot-wide-open-in-daylight junkie, and have occasionally run into the 1/4000th sec mechanical shutter limit, but e-shutter does go to 1/8000 in Silent Mode; you just need to be careful in artificial lighting and when photographing very fast-moving subjects (rolling shutter). If you are a hardcore landscape photographer who prints big, you may find the resolution on the low side; you'd be better off with an A7R model, or the A1. Another thought: I do miss the Custom buttons found on other A7/A9 models. But for casual shooting, the absence of these buttons is okay. All-in-all, this is a superb addition to Sony's full-frame Alpha line. If you are seeking the smallest and lightest possible full-frame Sony body, look no further!

We use the CameraRibbon when we need to do extended handheld TV News Videography. We use Sony PMW200 Camcorders in the field, and the CameraRibbon allows us to shoulder mount it with a counterbalance that takes the strain and muscle out of the process. Plus it frees up the other hand, for live cues. The quick release mount feature allows us to switch to our tripod quickly. Note, I strongly recommend others to buy an extra lead counterweight, when using with a Sony PMW200 Camcorder.

I'm the Chief News Videographer for a small-market CBS/NBC duopoly, and we have a fleet of eleven Sony DSR-PD150s. Most of our batteries are the now out-of-production F960s, but we're replacing them with the F970s as the old ones are lost/broken.The run-time of either battery model is unheard of in the ENG business...the five-pound bricks we used on our Betacams and Doctors would last maybe 90 minutes, half that when using the camera light. With a F970, our PD150s get a solid 6-8 hours of real-world power-on time.We do use several Sony HVL-20DW2 camera lights, and we have issues with the batteries shutting themselves off. Like the previous reviewer stated, we have to put the batteries either on the Sony charger or on the camera for them to reset. My theory is the 10-20 watt power drain from the lights upsets the batteries' built-in computer.I've read complaints about how expensive the Sony batteries are, but we're only talking $105 for a battery that will power your camera for many hours.....in a news environment, it's wonderful not having to worry about batteries going dead. The old NiCad bricks were $300 or more each, and you always had to carry extras..... Expertise: 10 Years Broadcast News Videographer Problems Encountered: Seems to be incompatible with Sony's HVL-20DW2 camera light. Previous Equivalent Item Owned: NP-F960
