Nexus 10 Tablet Android Update

I use this to tether my Canon 5D MkIII to my 10 Adnroid tablet or android phone. There is a $$Android utility called DSLR controller that allows you to remote control the camera. So now I can see my images in good detail while I am taking them, instead of trying to use the small LCD on the camera. I can also show my clients the images before leaving the site. This cable is GREAT! I tried finding one around town with no luck, but B&H delivered quickly. 5 |

I use a nexus tablet as a field monitor. The connection is strong and everything fits well 5 |

Just what I needed to download pics from my camera's SD card to my Nexus 7 tablet. 5 |

Works great for my tablet. The USB cable broke so I bought this as a replacement. (The tablet was the Nexus 7) 5 |

I have an original Nexus 7 tablet that I wanted to use to view my recently taken photos. I wanted somthing other than a laptop. I bought a mirco-USB OTG cable and downloaded the Nexus Media Importer. With this flash reader, I can now plug the SD card from the camera into the reader, connect the reader to the tablet with the OTG cable and view my pictures on the tablet. Very nice for sharing. By removing the pictures from the camera, I do not have to power the camera to view them. I take DNG RAW pictures and they appear instantly as I move from one to the other. This arrangement works very well! 5 |

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone... 5 |

The Genie One operates at about half or less of the volume (motor noise) of the original Genie. I had a VERY difficult time connecting to a brand new iPhone 12 to do the firmware upgrade and was about to give up and return it to B&H. I was able to update both of my 1st generation Genie Mini on the first try. The Syrp website suggests using an Android phone. I live in an all Apple household, and I was going to borrow a friend's Android, but tried one last thing. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, and tried loading the newest version of the Syrp app onto it. That worked, so I tried connecting the Genie One, and voila, the iPad downloaded the update and loaded it onto the Genie One on the first try. There are some very nice upgrades to the app and device and all are compatible with the 1st generation Genie Minis that I have for pan/tilt. All in all a great system, but there were big hiccups on the firmware updates. 5 |

For the discounted price, it cannot be beat. Was able to update it to Android 11 without any problems was another plus. Very responsive; the camera takes very decent pictures; wifi reception was way better than my LG V20. The only problem is if you are coming from a bigger handset, this will feel very small and takes a while to get used to. The good thing is it fits any pocket and you don't guilty about replacing this phone after 2 years. 5 |
