I purchased this camera to take with me to NFL games this fall. I've been practicing to be sure I can use it to its fullest. It takes clear pictures each time (I have it set on auto). The photos are not as crisp when the zoom is fully extended to 240mm. Regardless, the distance that this camera lens covers is impressive. I'm glad I purchased it.

I travel around north America doing lighting for the NHL, NFl these stands are perfect in every way, very sturdy and versatile a little heavy but worth the weight in stability

I photograph NFL with a 400 mm 2.8, which is a heavy lens. I was using a ball head and it would get loose and pinch my hand. The Tilt Head gives me enough mobility without getting loose. The quick release is a added benefit when I break down equipment in a hurry.

We bought 2 of these for sports video work (NFL) as an upgrade from some Sachtler ACE XL's. They are paired with FX3s and a multitude of lenses but usually a 70-200GM and a 200-600mm. They have been smooth and sturdy and the continuous counterbalance works very well. The fluid head comes with a short and a long plate which is great for long lenses. I also like that the plates can be dropped in at an angle instead of sliding in. I will try to update the review after the season ends.

Received a couple of weeks ago, have shot two NFL games. Still learning but immediate results are incredible. Moving from a 300 F2.8, I now have a range of 200mm - 560mm. Now I can cover the majority of the football (American) field and capture action in great detail. Paired with a Canon 1DX,it is the most flexible setup and the quality of image and build is incredible.The price is extremely high but if you can justify it, you will not be disappointed.
