Night Vision Scope For Spring Air Rifle

Just received scope and have not mounted on rifle but the vision is super in the early morning dawn - like the flip open covers and sun shield that are included with scope. Will be using on Elk hunt later on after plenty of sight in practice for ranging.

Its a great cheap scope to get for any air rifle, its less than a rear sight and better and the adjustments for elevation and wind are precise making this a great target scope.

Installed on air rifle for shooting ground squirrels anywhere from 15 yards to 150 I haven’t been able to go to 150 yet but what I’ve seen and experienced it really works. Set up was easy just follow the instructions. I installed mine behind the bell of the scope and positioned it in the up position. I don’t have to pack a rangefinder around anymore all you have to do is press one button and it gives your reading and you don’t have to mess with adjusting your scope turret.

I purchased this air rifle scope thinking that it was going to be pretty average in quality. I was wrong. For a little over $, I was impressed by the weight and quality out of the box. I can't wait to see how this baby performs on my .177 rifle at 100 feet!

I mounted the scope on a Slavia 634 Air Rifle. The scope is clear, easy to focus and adjust. So far recoil has not affected sight settings. Because of the large, adjustable objective lens bell, buyers should buy high scope rings so that the lens covers can be used with scope. Medium height rings will place the lens covers too close to the receiver to allow the covers to be attached.

I have had this scope for a little over two months now, and I am truly impressed. The scope is mounted on a Rem 700 in .30-06. Between my son and I we have already put 3 to 4 boxes through the rifle after mounting the scope, ranging from 150 grain to 180 grain, recoil has not affected my zero and eye relief has not been a problem. We were quickly ringing steel at 300 yards with no problem. What has really impressed me is the image quality at night. We set up with green lights intermediately placed 25 yards out to 175 yards, and are able to see out to nearly 200 yards on a pitch black night. The rifle has fallen three to four feet at least twice and has held zero without a problem. I am already looking for my next Vortex scope purchase.

I got this free with the purchase of a travel scope. It is very useful for viewing at night when you want to make adjustments to the scope and not mess up your night vision. A red light is a must for visual asronomy at a dark sky sight. Highly recommended
