Nikon 135Mm F2 Ais

The lens protection for my Nikkor 135mm 2.8 AIs lens. I use a Haze-2 on any lens longer than 100mm...

purchased one of these for each of my legacy nikon ais lenses.

I am using this primarily with my 180mm f/2.8, 135mm f/2 and 85mm f/2 manual focus AIS lenses. Very pleased with it. No problems. Using on a Nikon D750.

I got this lens because it works with my DF, F3HP & F2 Photomic. I like the 40mm focal length because I feel this is actually closer to the perspective of the human eye than a 50mm. It is very easy to focus with the DF rangefinder dot as well as the F2 P screen. I have made 11x14 prints (both inkjet & gelatin silver) and the lens seems very sharp. I am also very impressed with the build quality. It is equal to my Ai/Ais lenses and actually focus is smoother than my 50 1.4 Ais. The only minus is the fact that the lens is heavier than it looks. I guess that is because of the all metal & glass construction. The lens hood is a screw in design with a dedicated lens cap that makes it very convenient for carry.

The filter is a good cover for my bokeh Canon 135mm f2 lens. Not much to say about it ...

This filter lives on my 135mm f2 and provides me with the best optical quality available, opening up opportunities for spectacular images with rich color depth.

The Milvus 85mm f1.4, 100mm Macro f2, and 135mm f2 have been my favorite and best performing lenses that I use on my Canon 5Ds r. I just purchased the Milvus 50mm f1.4 and my tests show it to be as good as if not better than the other Milvus's just mentioned, and far better than any other lens of that focal length that I have tested. I am looking forward to doing good work with it.

Macro photography is really not my thing. A friend ask if I would make a few photos of some small skulls. I told him I would see what I could do. I used my Canon 135mm f2 with the extension tube. It's not a macro lens, but at f11 and f16, and stack focusing, I was impressed with the results.

This & the Canon 135MM F2 are probably the best telephoto lens'on the world Eye popping images, sharp, rich colors, contrasty & the best bokeh in the known galaxy. A must have for sports or when you want to keep your distance at an event. Can get a little heavy so get some exercise before use!!

Sometimes it fits securely over the lens (ie nikon 15mm ais)... sometimes over the lens hood (ie Nikon 85mm f4 afd) and lots in between. If you like to travel light, this is it. �Definitely walk around protection from little bumps and scratches. Want to take a shot... 123 its off, squished up and put in a pocket... shoot away. Nothing to drop or hurt or hurt the lens. Love it.
