Nikon 20Mm 1.8 Review

I bought this lens to fit between my Nikkor 20mm 1.8G, and my Nikkor 50mm 1.8G lenses for when I want something wider than a 50, and not as wide as a 20. It fits right in there where I thought it would. I use a full frame Camera (Nikon D750). The 35mm is light, small, very sharp, fast focusing and accurate in my opinion. It is light weight, plasticy like the other G lenses are, but that's not a problem for me since I don't abuse my lenses. They feel solid, not toyish at all, and they work great! The price is not that bad either considering how well they work, the 35mm included. It is weather sealed, has a metal mount, a nice lens shade and a decent focusing ring which I only use now and then because the autofocus is very good. I like that this lens is wider than a 50mm yet doesn't bend lines as much as the 20mm. I had bought one of these lenses refurbished from Nikon's online store to save some money but when I got it I found out it only has a 90 day warranty on it instead of Nikon's usual 5 year warranty, so for the small savings the warranty trade off was not worth it to me. So I returned it and went over to B&H and bought this lens. I have shopped at B&H both online and in their store and have never come away with anyhing but a feeling of satisfaction. They're great! I'm sure this lens will be with me on my walks around NYC for many years to come. I recommend this lens to anyone that wants a wide, but not super wide angle lens.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S lens is great for landscapes and astro. Super sharp and no coma in the stars. Happy with my purchase.

Nikon's Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens will be my go to lens in astro photography; waiting for a moonless night to give this lens a chance to show what it is capable of in the astro photography world. Love the lens for its potential in landscape work. The 20mm f/1.8 S lens does an exceptional job in photographing the interior of the home. Just returned from shoot with this filter on a Nikon 20mm f/1.8G. The color is good in all of the pictures with no chromatic aberrations (many of shots into a sunset). When I went to clean the filter the next day it was already clean, no dust on the front of it (was expecting a lot of dust from desert shoot). Happy with purchase, would recommend.

Very nicely built item. I did not have any color cast issues. I am using with nikon 20mm 1.8 and 18-35mm 3.5-4.5 lens with d610. I have actually recommended this to one of my friend.

Using a Nikon F5 with a Nikkor 20mm f/1.8G lens and Lomography CN-100 35mm film loaded, color of the pictures I took are true to life.

Perfect size pouch for Nikon 1.8G primes (20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 85mm). For me best used when stacking lenses or other equipment in the same cell of a camera bag compartment.

I bought the Nikon 20mm 1.8 lens about a year months ago for my Z7II. I now use it on my Z8 and love it. It is sharp and can be used for architecture and landscapes. I also use it for photographing a group of people. Great glass! I would not buy from any other place then B&H. It looks bulky, but it's light enough to carry for street photos.
