Wow.. I love this lens. As a matter of fact, I like all Fujinon lenses that I have 35mm f2 and even xc 50-230mm OIS II. I wonder how better it could be the both 55-200mm and specially 50-140WR. Saving and waiting for the next rebate for 50-140. I am chasing my 2 yr old girl everywhere with this lens or 35mm f2 on my x-t1, and both day and night, in the house or not, it gives me excellent images that I am so happy with. AF is quite good too. Though I am much tempted to get x-t2 for its much praised AF. That's for another rebate after the next one.

Although I was very happy with my Canon 35mm f2 IS, I was impressed by the reviews and tests of this Tamron (especially from Dustin Abbott on YouTube) and so I decided to buy it. I may not shoot wide open all the time, but I want the OPTION to do so...and this lens is actually SHARP at 1.8!!! HOWEVER....it was NOT accurate out of the box. I needed to do some micro-adjustments on my 6D for it to focus accurately at my chosen focus point - and now I am thrilled to have this lens in my toolbox. I love it. The color rendering is very nice, the bokeh is beautiful - and I'm very glad I made this purchase.

I purchased this lens to replace my EF 35mm f2 and converter effectively giving me a lighter more compact walking around lens. I found the image quality from both lenses to be excellent. The advantages of the RF version are the closer focusing distance, control ring and not having to use an adapter. The advantages of the EF version were better low light focusing, internal focusing and a real hood. I wish the RF version was more like the EF version but I’m hook on the advantages of mirrorless cameras.

I've only had this lens for about a week but with my X-T3 it's the sharpest lens I've ever used (currently own Fuji 35mm/f2, and 18-55mm and 55-200 zooms). Extremely fine build quality.
