Nikon And Sony Digital Camera Comparisons

I never used an instant film camera before and I have always been digital camera user (SONY and Nikon). No doubt RF70 is the best Polaroid camera I've seen! It's just amazing. The best thing of RF70 is the aperture control, and excellent shallow depth of field. I am very happy and having fun shooting with it. 5 |

Use this product with my Sony digital camera alfa 5. 5 |

To be honest, I have nothing to compare it to...since going digital I have only used Canon (and Nikon before that for film) until now that I use a Sony a7IV. All of my cine and photo friends who went to Sony with a load of Canon lenses recommended this hands down. I love the design and feel of it. So far so good! 5 |

I use this battery with my PMW-F3 sony camera. I also use other sony batteries for my digital camera and digital video cam. All SONY batteries last longer and get charged fast. But they are somewhat expensive. 5 |

After seeing some comparisons to the Sony 135 GM, I decided to give it a try. Out of the box, i was blown away with the images that were coming out of my A7RV. Super sharp at 1.8 which is what I was looking for. I'm very pleased with the value and quality of this lens. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking for that perfect portrait lens. 5 |

I was looking at the Sony G 100-400mm but thought I'd give this Sigma a try. Good idea! In head-to-head comparisons with the Sony (my wife has one) the optical quality was indistinguishable. You lose 1/2 a stop but at 40% of the price I can live with that. One caveat--this lens does not work with the Sony teleconverters. 5 |

I had my eye on the Bose quietcomfort 35 II but I looked at comparisons between the sony and the bose. The Sony are more comfortable. I have smaller sony noise cancelling headphones I bought back in 2011 and love them even though they have a cord. The bluetooth range on these is crazy. I ran out of tape measure at 100 and they were still thumping. I love the hidden controls on the right earcup housing. Double tap to pause the device and double tap to resume play. 5 |

A quick round of shooting and comparisons to other lenses (in PhotoShop, at 200%) finds that the lens is a little soft at 12mm, f/4 - but is fully sharp by f5.6-8. It's as good as any other Nikon lens from there up, with best resolution achieved at f/5.6 to f/11. In comparisons at 100%, it is difficult to see any problems with this lens at any focal length or aperture. It has great acuity and contrast. Focus is fast and silent. A Hoyo Pro Digital UV filter or polarizer(5mm thick ring) does not pinch the corners of the image. However, when stacked, there is visible vignetting in the extreme corners. The build quality is in line with Nikon mid-priced lenses. I have seen numerous complaints about this... the plasticky feel, and that a lens of this price should be up to pro standards of build quality. I disagree. The new materials and construction are solid, work well, and cut lens weight. The last point is important to me. The lighter I can make my bag, the better. And the heavier, mostly metal lenses break just as easily. With this lens, we pay for the technology and the glass that went into producing a top-notch lens. Chromatic abberations are mentioned in some reviews, with the Nikon 12-24mm winning out against its off-brand rivals. Shooting with a D300, CA is automatically corrected in-camera, so this trait of all wide angles is not an issue. All-in-all a great addition to the kit. Get past the price, enjoy the quality, and make killer photographs with it. 5 |

I've shot portraits with this, and done some sharpness comparisons with Nikon. A little soft at 1.4, but otherwise amazing. The $ price with the focus confirmation chip is definitely a steal. The focus ring is smooth, and the bokeh is creamy. Don't get turned off by the lack of autofocus, all the best lenses are manual such as Leica.no complaints! It's built like a tank! 5 |

Worked perfectly to attach a teleconverter to a Sony a5000 digital camera. 5 |
