Nikon Coolpix L10 5.0Mp 3X Zoom Digital Camera

The Nikon Coolpix P1000 is quite a camera.  I have a lot of learning to do.

Very well made, very lightweight. Works very well with a Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera!

I had a Nikon Coolpix 900 and the one thing I disliked the most about was the lack of a manual focus. The P1000 solve that problem plus added to the zoom capabilities. The size and weight may be a draw back for some but being used to a Nikon D800 and 24 to 120 zoom the weight isn't bad at all. Was so pleased with the Coolpix 1000 that the D800 set in the camera bag during the 4-8-2024 solar eclipse.

I am a photographer on a budget. I own a Nikon Z6 and wanted a longer zoom, but the Nikon equivalent is almost 3x more than this Tamron. This lens is lighter, a little smaller and is perfect for my needs! Saving up for a teleconverter next! My only complaint is the tripod collar is sold separately, which adds another $100 but still well worth it.

This little gadget works wonders. I have a Nikon Coolpix P900 and Coolpix P1000 super zoom bridge cameras. This Manfrotto Lens Support does the job of steadying the lens to reduce and prevent camera shake at extreme focal length (zoom). Coupled with a very sturdy tripod and wireless remote control, this Lens Support will greatly enhance the sharpness of your photos. Another advantage is it reduces the strain on the 1/4 inch quick release screw where it attaches to your camera. As well, you can attach your tripod head onto the Lens Support rail in the middle. This helps balance the camera on the tripod when the lens is zoomed all the way out. This will also work great for DSLR's. I really like this Lens Support, works very well.
