I use this and numerous other Nikon lenses with my Mikon D70 and D200 Digital SLR cameras to do Lunar imaging.

This filter was a great buy for the price. I use it with my 50mm 1.8 on the Nikon D200. So far, it has worked great for scenic shots and lifestyle portrait photography. It's really easy to use and helps protect my lens. The only disadvantage is if I want to quickly remove it for a shot, it takes awhile to get off and the threading seems to get off track somewhat easily - only minor nuisance. Overall, I love it!

For the price (cheap) it does everything they said it would do. I have a Nikon D200 and a D7100. Now I can take them both with me and not miss that shot of the bear wandering thru the woods. Someone else complained that you could not use the strap with a single camera. Not true. Simply snap both sides together. Works great!

I bought this to use on my D200 & D800 Nikon camers. It works as it should and does just what I want it to do.

This is my main camera bag. I carry a Nikon D200 with the battery pack and an 18-200mm, SB-600, and the 105mm micro. everything fits very well and there are plenty of pockets for the miscellaneous articles. it is a very comfortable bag to carry.

I needed to find a way to create quality copies of 35mm slides more quickly than could be done using a film scanner. I use the ES-1 with my Nikon D200 and the Nikon DX 40mm AF-S Macro focus lens. My slide copying stand includes my my Nikon SB-800 speedlight and the SC-28 cable to connect the camera hot shoe to the flash. I also use the Nikon DR-6 right angle viewfinder attachment to make it easier to view the image. The set-up pictured ensures I have a process that produces consistent results. With a Nikon DX camera and the 40mm lens there is no need to use any extension tubes or adapter rings. The ES-1 screws right into the end of the lens. With the set-up I can copy about 90-100 slides per hour including the transfer to my PC and any post processing, such as cropping, that might be required. The 10MP D200 creates a jpeg file that is about 5MB. From this you can make a 300 dpi print up to 12 x 8.5 inches.

I got this camera to have for everyday usage as well as when I cannot carry my Nikon D200. It has been a great camera and the pre-set shooting modes are really good. It takes better pictures in low light situations, but not if it is too dark (like others have said). I get good pictures even at 1600 ISO with no flash.

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old.

I picked up a Nikon D200, it did not have the body cap, just a lens. B&H had what I needed.
