Nikon D2X Digital Camera

Keeps my Nikon D2x and Nikon lens safe and secure.

I'm 80+ and have big hands. My do-everything camera is a Nikon D2x, which fits perfectly. But with the 28-70mm, the D2x is starting to be heavy. The RX100 III with the Meike grip, at less than 12 ounces, is not as easy to hold as the D2x, but I can do it all day. Or stick it in my pocket.

I have been wanting this camera from the beginning but since I'm the type of person who likes to sit back and wait to see how everyone responds about the camera and then I purchase it. I also rented it for a week when I went on vacation to Aruba two years ago and loved the camera! I then waited another two years to see if the price goes down a little and then I finally purchased it a few months ago. I have a Nikon D2X and the Nikon D3s. I was going to sell the D2X but decided to wait a while longer. Those two cameras probably have around 2000 or 3000 clicks on each one of them so they are in mint condition. I use them for a few weddings as a back up to the wedding photographer. One for free because I wanted to get experience and the other one the brides mother paid me I think a 100.00 which is fine because I was there to get some experience and the main photographer said I did a good job so I was happy. Experience if more important right now than making money. What I love about this camera is super fast focusing. Much better than the other two. I was floored when I saw how fast it focused. Darn near fell over with excitement. I'm anxious to use the Focus Stacking option. I have to say I haven't used it in low lighting to see how the noise is and I'm anxious to try it out. I will write more about it at a later date after I get to use it more. I highly recommend this camera at this point.

I use the 18-55mm lens as my basic lens fro my Nikon D2X.

I absolutly adore this lens , I use it on my Nikon D2x and it works like a charm. I recently used it for a protest and i got some of my best portraits. I deffinatly recomend this lens its amazing for the price and the bokeh is gorgeous.

I have been using this lens for approximately three months. Linked to a Nikon D2X, an Aquatica case and a Inon Z-240 with a 8 dome.and a 8g card, super sharp, just keep your dive fins out of the frame.

Semi Pro Use -- The lense will mainly be used on a Nikon D2X, with a SB-900 Flash. This lense is great for weddings and receptions. I now need to change my lense only once during the shot. Start out with the Nikon 17-55 (2.8) for great close ups and then switch to the new 28-300 for the rest of the day. The lense is also GREAT for my favorite projects: Taking pictures of my grand children when they visit grandma and grandpa. We all know how difficult it is to get 2-7 year olds in the correct distance. This lense solves that problem, great job Nikon. Dennis T

I use this when I'm cleaning the sensors on my Nikon D3 and D2X. Every once in a while grease gets on the sensor and this solution is great for a thorough clean.

I often travel with my camera (a D2x), and like to have a relatively wide angle and also a moderate telephoto with me. This lens meets those criteria in a single lens. It is typical of Nikon quality. The VR feature gives more flexibility for hand held shots. I am very happy with this lens.
