I have a Nikon d3000 and found out that the kit lens is limited in zoom and filter use. I decided to buy this 18-105 instead of the 18-200 due to the price. I do not regret. The auto focus is much faster than the kit lens and also very silent. The front element does not rotate, allowing the use of a polarizer. I thought this lens would be good enough, with enough range and not weighing too much. Thankfully I was right. If you want lens much better than the kit for a reasonable price, go for it.

I use this remote every time I use my camera now! It's small but very useful, and the range is great! I have the Nikon D3000 and it works just fine with that camera.

I use this bag for my Nikon D3000. I was not interested in the typical camera bag and this bag is perfect. It fits the camera with a lens attached and there is also room for an additional lense. Love, Love, Love this bag!!!

I'm no pro, so this is a good starter zoom lens for my Nikon D3000. It performs as expected, operates smoothly, and interfaces with the camera's software in a predictable fashion. It's best for situations that have some space about them like a backyard or neighborhood or a large gathering. For closer quarters I need to revert to the 18-55 mm lens (no zoom) that came with the camera kit. I'm very happy with my choice. I hope to be able to afford a true telephoto lens some day.

I was debating between the K-x, Nikon D3000, and a Canon Rebel. I picked up the K-x cause it shoots 720p video, has better low light performance, higher fps, and I was able to get it for cheaper than either of those cameras. The camera is easy to use, the controls are intuitive and the overall experience has been great. Like other reviews have said, it doesn't hurt that this camera looks stylish.

Nice case for D3000. Appears to be made of padded heavy duty synthetic material that will protect camera and lens from moderate collisions with the ground or other objects. Side has small snap strap that attaches the case to the camera strap while allowing you to remove the case completely. Nice Nikon name tag on front. One caviat, if you're used to the hard leather cases that cameras in the day used to have, this isn't it. If you're looking for an everyday case to protect your Nikon from normal wear and tear it's a great solution.
