Nikon D3500 Kit

This is a SOLID ball-head!! We used it to hold a Nikon D3500 with the kit 70-300 lens on a Joby 3K tripod. Add the Oben QRA-A2 Quick Release Assembly to this to have a compact Acra compatible ball head that can support several pounds.

I used to have several cameras and enjoyed taking photos. Life somehow got in the way and I ended up selling my gear. The Nikon D3500 kit was a great way to renew my passion.

I recently bought a Nikon D3500 kit with an 18-55 lens. For thirty years I have used a compendium-type hood to keep stray light out of the lens, but in this case the front element of the lens is very close to the end of the lens, and I wanted a dedicated hood to help guard against stray fingerprints. I prefer to stay with Nikon's products, but their hood for this lens is twenty five dollars. I bought the Vello LHN-HBN106 lens hood at under fifteen dollars, and find that the Vello hood fits fine, is substantial enough for my use. I recommend the product, and recommend B&H.

I ordered two spare batteries for my Nikon d3500 and they came super fast. And we're exactly what I expected! I will definitely order from B&H again!

Added this lens to a new D3500 with 18-55mm kit lens. This telephoto takes super sharp images which would withstand significant enlargement. Haven't use it much but will soon on trip to Kauai, Hawaii. Focus time ridiculously fast.

I bought my wife a refurbished Nikon D3500 recently. Not a lot of extras included so I added them myself. I ordered a couple of simple UV Haze filters to protect the front elements. They work great.

I bought this so I could have a strap that could fit in my pocket or inside a bag without taking too much space. I've used it with my Nikon D3500 and a Ricoh GRIII. With the latter, I feel it's a little too overkill, but it works great all the same. It's excellent for traveling or for going out with minimal gear.

I am an amateur photographer and typically only photograph birds and wildlife with my Nikon D3500. I recently became interested in street photography and did not want to carry my larger Nikon everywhere. The Ricoh GR III is compact, versatile, and incognito. I like editing in-camera, and how simple it is to achieve the appropriate ISO setting.

I’ve been shooting a Nikon D3500 for a couple of years and was ready for an upgrade. I shoot mostly wildlife and wanted to stick with a DX format; this body was recommended by a number of hobbyists in a group I belong to. I’m still exploring everything this camera is capable of, but I am already in love. It’s faster and performs better in low light than my D3500. I’m so happy with this purchase!

The Nikon D500 DSLR is a super camera and is compatible with all my Nikon lenses previously purchased with my D3500. When coupled with my Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens the system is just fantastic. The extra battery, case and memory card are a plus for great savings. Thanks B and H!
