I am using it with a Nikon D700. Previously had a Tamron with the same zoom range....NO COMPARISON! It is very sharp and the VR gives me at least 3 stops. The only lens I take on trips. Expensive, yes but worth every penny. 5 |

Having just ordered a Nikon D850 recently and always having had a spare battery for my D700 I decided that I should have a spare battery for the D850 as well... Although I've not had a chance to utilize it as of yet I'm sure it will deliver the needed power. Nikon makes some excellent products and I've always used genuine OEM batteries without any problems. 5 |

Bought with my Nikon D700 as addition to arsenal of Nikon or related lenses that work with that model. Good range for the nature and tight portrait work that I'm called to do as owner of an AD/PR firm and also as a pro photographer. A bit hefty but that's a plus in that it uses it's weight to increase stabilization. First test results are very nice. 5 |

Using this on a Gitzo G1325 with Nikon D700. Longest lens 70-200mm f/2.8. Doing mostly landscape, and some product shots. To me twisting the ring is easier than fiddling with knobs on the Arca-Swiss B1, or Markins M20 I have. Don't have to reach around for the knob that changes side when shooting down or up. The design of the P0 is that of a normal ball head turned upside-down. As a result, the pan mechanism is on the top. If you level the camera, the pan axis is also level. This is great for panoramas. All you need is a bar and L-bracket for lodal point adjustment. This is not a heavy ball head. Great for hiking, but I wouldn't go over 200mm with it. 5 |
