Going with 5 stars on this, for its exceptional use for astro photography. Using this on my Nikon D700 is a joy. No problems with manual focusing, simply have to hook it up with either Live View or Nikons manual focusing system. 5 |

Rear curtain flash is a function of the camera, not the flash. The flash only does what the camera tells it to do. In your Nikon user manual look under Flash Sync. for instructions for the various sync modes. Sunpak wouldn't know to make an inferior product. I have been using them for a long time and never hesitated to buy an upgraded version. 5 |

I am a Canon user, I got a Nokon D700 with a 50mm 1.4 lens a while back so I wanted to utilize camera as I did not want to sell it so I got this prime and another prime to go with the Nikon kit. I simply love everything about it. My fav from the Canon world is the 85mm 1.2 and this one is next in line in my setup. 5 |
