Nikon Digital Camera Cost

This $100 value was bundled with the Panasonic Lumix DCZS80 Digital Camera at no extra cost. While the battery can be charged in camera with the included USB cable, it's useful to be able to charge externally and having an additional Panasonic battery is a must.

This is my first digital camera, moving over from film. It's got all of the convenient features I would expect, and isn't overkill (I don't need 60fps 4k video). The cost is reasonable, and with the adapter you can get a lot of reasonably priced, used EF lenses for a very reasonable cost. I've only taken this camera out a few times, but I have no real complaints. The only foreseeable issue is the relatively small controls, which might not be great for those with larger fingers. The settings seem reasonable enough. Burst mode only takes six shots when shooting RAW, but that's plenty good for me. Low light sensitivity is alright, if you use fast glass. Think 1.4, not 2.8. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Getting back into digital photography has brought me to this camera and I love what this product can do!! There are so many features on this camera that you can practice with and learn a lot! What made me get this camera over a Nikon or Cannon is that I can get much more camera for the same amount of money. This camera by far out does an entry level and mid level Canon or Nikon and that really caught my attention. There are also several professionals out there that are getting fantastic results using this camera and cameras like it. You cannot go wrong in buying this camera! It does everything!!

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old.

Bought this cable to go from my Nikon D4 DSLR camera and the off-camera digital recorder. So far it works perfectly and seems to provide good strain relief. It's a nice short length so it doesn't get in the way of anything!
