I use this remote for everything I shoot on a tripod. It works great and can be used on many Nikon camera's like my D60 and my N75. The best thing about it is there are no cables and it is easy to transport and use. I accually have two of them incase one gets lost or the battery dies. The only bad thing is that it might be a little small for someone with large hands. Over all a great deal for the price and priceless for the use... 5 |

I use this remote with my Nikon D60 anytime I'm shooting on a tripod. It is an invaluable tool because it is much faster than repeatedly setting the self-timer (to avoid camera shake), especially during stop-motion animation. It is very durable; I have dropped mine countless times and it still works fine. I had worried about the battery life, since it is very difficult to open the battery compartment, yet I have shot at least 1500 pics with the remote and it's still going. Plus, the battery won't accidentally fall out. It's very small; mine fits in the memory card compartment in my camera bag. It also comes with a cool little bag to house the remote in,which is a nice extra. It is extremely easy to use; you just set the shooting mode on your camera to 'remote' and fire away! I have read complaints about it having a weak signal, yet I can stand about 10-15 feet back from my camera and it still works! The only con is that I think it's a tad overpriced, however I suppose you're paying for durability and the Nikon name. 5 |
