I have just recently started using the remote speed-light system(R1), coupled to a Nikon D70s camera. The application is macro-photography of metal fracture surfaces. So far, I have been extremely pleased with the results.... 5 |

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old. 5 |

I have previously used a tripod over several years with my Nikon D70s, a Bushnell range target spotter scope, and my JVC HD Video Camera. I was needing to replace my older tripod, well worn, with a newer model but one that was a bit more of substantial quality. I researched several manufactures and models of each but was impressed more with this particular make and model due to other reviewers comments. Once I recieved my order I really will agree with other reviews but would like to add that this model is very stable, ease of setup/adjustment, excellent quality for the price, and far exceeds my expectation for a good quality fluid drive movement. 5 |

This Watson was my last straw to provide new life for my old Nikon D70s. The original charger disappeared, so Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for the EN-EL3 battery brought new life to the functioning D70s. This D70s will make a young person interested in photography very happy. Thanks to B&H for providing new life to the older camera. 5 |

Used in a Nikon D70s, it adapts just fine and I haven't noticed any speed reduction 5 |

It works nice. Nice build quality. Works well with my Nikon 12-24mm on my D70s, even thoug its not one of the low profile filters. 5 |

Great extra lens for the Nikon D40 kit and also works great with the D70s. Light for carrying two bodies and four lenses.Very crisp and clean. Problems Encountered: A little slower to focus in dim light but not enough to be bothersome. Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Many Nikkor and Sigma lenses. Items I Recommend: Nikon D40 Kit and D70s body 5 |

Getting back into digital photography has brought me to this camera and I love what this product can do!! There are so many features on this camera that you can practice with and learn a lot! What made me get this camera over a Nikon or Cannon is that I can get much more camera for the same amount of money. This camera by far out does an entry level and mid level Canon or Nikon and that really caught my attention. There are also several professionals out there that are getting fantastic results using this camera and cameras like it. You cannot go wrong in buying this camera! It does everything!! 5 |
