Nikon Dslr Cameras Image Stabilization

I bought this DSLR as addition to my Nikon film and digital cameras specifically because of the In-Body Stabilization which I would primarily use for macro photography. The camera's autofocus is fast/responsive and the IBIS gives me sharp images even when using non-stabilizaed lenses.

The camera body feels good, like a lightweight but well built and solid DSLR. The image stabilization is fantastic, I can shoot some nice videos of baby moving around handheld with one hand only. The kit lens performs well for video, but I don't like it so much for stills.

This camera allows me to use my vintage cameras with image stabilization. I am also impressed with the performance of my E series lens.. The feature set is far superior to the make of camera I have been using since 1986.

I’ve rented this lens for Alaska vacation previously. I was thrilled with great images of grizzley bears that were hand held. I’ve taken bird pictures with my purchased lens. Same great optics and image stabilization using my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark 2. note the in lens image stabilization works in conjunction with the in camera image stabilization for Olympus’s premium cameras, but not with the entry level cameras.

I'm pretty challenged when it comes to cameras. This little gem is easy to use and has great image stabilization plus all the other features are fabulous. When my dog came down with cancer I gave up with the bad photos from my blackberry and invested in the PowerShot so I could get some quality keepsakes and it hasn't let me down. Now if I can just keep my dogs from licking the camera!!

Image Stabilization (VC) is amazing!

I bought this leans because I needed a wider aperture for shooting night city landscapes and I only had the kit lens on my Nikon D750 (F4.0) and I don't like nor want to carry a tripod around with me. This lens performed admirably. They are sharper than my Nikon 24-120mm F4.0 lens and give extra stops for handheld low light situations. And it's the ONLY F1.8 lens in the market with image stabilization, which I admit is the reason I chose it in the first place, but so glad I did. If Nikon offered its 35mm/f1.8 with image stabilization maybe I would have bought it instead. With the extra stops you get from this lens stabiliztion, it's hard to beat it. And with VR image stabilization. Nikon is too chintzy to include a hood so a not supplied version can be yours for $34 extra.
