Nikon Em 35Mm Film Camera

I shoot with an older Nikon N65 35mm film camera. It does not have the option to hook any kind of cable release to it but it does have the necessary electronics to use the MN-L3 Remote Control Transmitter. The Transmitter works fantastic and allows me to trip the shutter without touching the camera or even being near it. I have used it as far away as 35 feet and it worked perfectly. This is a great accessory for this or any other camera that is capable of using this transmitter. The unit is VERY small, thin, and comes with its own little nylon protective case. And best of all, the PRICE is excellent!! You won't be unhappy with this unit at all.

Great battery and I'am using it with an Arriflex 35BL2 35mm film camera.

I use this with my mirrorless camera and the Essential Film Holder. I scan tons of 35mm film and this light works perfectly.

I use this with a Sony camera to scan 35mm film. It's flawless. I combine with the Essential Film Holder and it works very well.

These days, when I shoot 35mm film, it's usually in a vintage Nikon s-series rangefinder. Most of these cameras and lenses are from the late 1950s. The slower Fuji slide films give fine-grain images with bold colors. The high-contrast rendering of the film offsets the slightly lower contrast of the single-coated lenses.

I love this film! I use it a lot in my old 35mm. Truth be told with a good lens and this film my 35mm shoots as well as my Nikon D800. The bonus is that the depth of colors is WAY better with film. The other thing that rocks about this film is the smoothness. It isn't grainy in the least! Try it for your next portrait session you will love it!

From my prior review, I stated that I am using the Nikon D850 as my 35mm film scanner. The D850 is able to capture more details and colors from my recent 35mm film images. The first or odd numbered image is the original scan from the Nikon V-LS-50 scanner and the second or even numbered image is the Nikon D850 digital capture of the orange negative image. For the Nikon V-LS-50 scanner, I used the Nikon CoolScan Software Version 4.03 which generated NEF files and processed using Lightroom 6.14. The Nikon D850 captured orange negative image in NEF format was transformed to a positive image using NegativeLabPro Version 2.00 and Lightroom 6.14.

This was my first 35mm B&W film that I got to use out of my Nikon F5 that I wanted to try and have been extremely happy with. Used Ilfosol 3 to do my dev for it and did my own digital DSLR scan of my negs. For a 100 ISO film and cheap you cant go wrong with it.
