Nikon Fm2 35Mm Film Camera

I got in the habit of using a grip back in the old film days with my Nikon FM2 and MD-12. So I've always bought the Nikon grips with my DSLR's and fit RRS L-plates to them. They stay on the camera most of the time with the camera battery as a backup in the unlikely event that I run out of juice from the grip. I usually replaced the batteries long before they ran out in the past and took for granted that I never had to be concerned about battery life. That's all changed now since I bought the D810 and find myself shooting more video and using LV more frequently. I was shocked to see the low battery symbol. Obviously the grip adds additional functionality (vertical button layout), but I'm especially happy that I ordered it with my D810 now that I see how much power I'll be needing. It fits perfectly (tight and strong) and I use it on a tripod with no concerns at all. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

I use this body cap interchangeably on both my D700 and an old FM2 film camera. Got to love Nikon's F-mount.

This bag is perfect for small camera setups. I use it for my Nikon FM2 with three lenses. It is very small but the FM2 is a small compact SLR so the bag is just right. A 50mm, 135mm and my 20mm fit right inside and I can even keep the 135 mounted on the camera and stow it in the bag with no issues. The bag is top quality construction and just as well, it's made in the USA. As far as I'm concerned it's a winner.

I started with a black Nikon FM2, which is one of the best Nikon bodies in my opinion, and many years later bought an Leica M6. The M6 is already more than enough and I keep it. The MP has always been my dream camera. It goes beyond the M6 in its built materials. It's solid, a tank, extremily reliable. The kind of thing you'll pass to your son and he to his son. I prefer shooting with with rangefinder, that's why I moved to Leica. But these days I shot a roll with the FM2 and it was so frustating to my old memories. The camera is a lot made of plastic parts and looked fragile, loosen. The MP has everything locked in, tight, the M6 doesn't come close to that feeling. I'm not talking about the M3 because it doesn't suit me, since I shoot with 28mm and 35mm lenses. Thank you, Leica, for still making lifetime film cameras.

I have a Nikon FM and and FM2 and I just bought one strap for the FM and, I should have purchased 2 of these straps. Very comfortable if you are out and about for long periods of time. Frees you up to scope out a image and to visualize the image with the the camera around the neck. Would love this strap even more if there were quick release clips for the camera and not on the strap itself.

I shoot with an older Nikon N65 35mm film camera. It does not have the option to hook any kind of cable release to it but it does have the necessary electronics to use the MN-L3 Remote Control Transmitter. The Transmitter works fantastic and allows me to trip the shutter without touching the camera or even being near it. I have used it as far away as 35 feet and it worked perfectly. This is a great accessory for this or any other camera that is capable of using this transmitter. The unit is VERY small, thin, and comes with its own little nylon protective case. And best of all, the PRICE is excellent!! You won't be unhappy with this unit at all.

Excellent color tones. Use it with a Canon EOS 3 and a Nikon FM2.

I use this with my mirrorless camera and the Essential Film Holder. I scan tons of 35mm film and this light works perfectly.
