Been meaning to get one of these for a while. Less cumbersome than using PWs. If you've got line of sight for the IR, this is the way to go. Nikon quality, B&H service, can't beat either. 5 |

Less expensive than comparable Pelican cases though now Storm is owned by Pelican so expect prices to rise. I bought the one with the cubed foam to hold super telephoto lens and it has worked very well for both the Nikon 2004-400mm and 500mm f4 lenses. Plenty of extra space for the polarizing filter case and flash bracket and other items. Very strong case and yet very easy to open with the Storm latch design. Rolls very well even over carpeted surfaces. The interior dimensions are perfect for large lenses without a lot of wasted space so the case will still fit in most airplanes' overhead bins. I like the drab green which is in sharp contrast to the Nikon standard cases that scream steal me. There is nothing I would change with the Storm im2500 case design. 5 |

Have always bought these for my cameras. Bought my 1st one in 1989. Don't. Know how long Nikon has made them. Less conspicuous (no logo) to me most comfortable (not too narrow or too wide). Purchased from B&H. B&H wonderful photo store having full line of products. 5 |

Use with Nikon 7000...great accessory for slow shutter speeds and mirror lock up. If you use a tripod you need this in your bag. 5 |
