Nikon Mirrorless Camera Photos

I recently started taking street photos as a hobby with my Nikon mirrorless camera but I found that the included strap so too limiting and awkward to work with. I decided to get the Cuff as an alternative camera wrist strap and it's amazing. I feel safe carrying the camera around allowing me to freely move it plus it's pretty stylish.

I have been very pleased with the new Nikon Z50 2 Lens kit. It is much smaller and lighter than my other cameras, and it is very comfortable to handle and use. It just feels right when I pick it up. Both lenses focus quickly and quietly, and they produce sharp photos. They are well matched to the camera, and in spite of the plastic construction, they seem well made. The photos are very sharp and crisp and compare very favorably with the photos that I take with my D7500. Being a Nikon owner already, I had no trouble using the menu system. Since there are fewer buttons, it does take a little adjusting to shift from the dslr to the mirrorless, but once I had used the camera for a few days, the adjustment became easier. I love the eye autofocus. What really makes me happy is the video performance of the camera. The Z50's video autofocus is so much better than the the D7500! One thing that is quite different is the battery life. Managing the battery is much more important with the Z50, and I am very glad that I purchased a second battery. In summary, I love the Z50 and I'm glad I made it my first mirrorless camera.

It's the best way to carry batteries on a day taking photos with your mirrorless camera.

I just got the Nikon Z6 Mirrorless camera; this is my first mirrorless body and I'm super excited to see how it compares to my DSLRs. First impressions are great with it producing high quality images and fast focusing. I love that it's light-weight and easy to travel!

Perfect for the new Nikon mirrorless cameras, photos are downloaded before I can get the applications up and running (w/ USB-C).

No problem (like another 3rd party) with my new Mirrorless Nikon. Too new to know how long it lasts or how many photos's compared to my Nikon batteries. But, it does work.

I purchased the Nikon D780 as an upgrade to my TWELVE (12) year old Nikon D7000, which has served me well. I stayed with a DSLR vs a mirrorless Nikon due to my investment in F-Mount lenses over the years. (50 f1.8D, 28 f2.8D, 85 f1.8D, 180 f 2.8D, 28-70 f2.8, & 70-200 f2.8 VR1).   I do not shoot video, so I have no need for Live View or other video capabilities and upgrades of mirrorless cameras. I also shoot fully manual settings with autofocus, so the other bells and whistles do not appeal to me, I primarily shoot my son's high school marching band under the Friday Night Lights. My previous D7000 took perfect quality photos in daylight and on the field, but REALLY struggled with photos of the band in the bleachers under the dim lights. The ISO produced subpar photos at anything above 1600. The new D780 works perfectly in extremely low light with Auto-ISO set to 10,000. The autofocus is lightning fast and perfectly accurate for low light shooting. The colors are amazing and the bokeh is unrivaled.   It is a HUGE jump in quality for a 2010 DX model to a 2020 FX model. What a difference in a decade of technological advancements!

This is my first Fuji Camera and first mirrorless. My last camera was a Nikon entry-level DSLR around 10 years old. It was time for an upgrade. This camera is compact but packs a big punch. I'm amazed by how much you can customize through the settings. Taking some time looking through the menus and exploring the settings before you take it out makes a world of difference. I also took some time to create my own custom film sims which makes shooting so much fun and creative. I practice film photography and having this digital option with somewhat traditional dials complements my film practice perfectly.
