I use this strap with my Nikon P7000. The strap allows me to easily reach for as well as store my camera into a Tamrac 5693 camera case, which was much more difficult with the Nikon neck strap the camera came with. Used it on a recent hiking trip and had no problems.

It is superior in several areas....

Perfectly sized for the Nikon P7000. I picked this up for when I'm touring and not carrying the DSLR, this sling and the P7000 are perfect.
