Nikon Pro Digital Camera

I’m not a pro, but this is my third Nikon digital camera (I still have two Nikon film cameras in my ‘museum’). I was looking for a full frame mirror less camera for travelling to replace my Nikon DSLR (great quality but too heavy). I picked the Z6 due to the Z mount lenses. I’m using the 24-70mm f4 kit lens editing with Photoshop and Premiere, and shooting Raw and 4K/24fps. So far, the quality has been awesome. I’m looking forward to filling out my lens set with a primary lens in the 100mm range (when available).

I also use the Hoya Pro 1 Digital. The Nikon is well made and is easier to clean than the Hoya. I use this on my 70-200/2.8, and 24-70/2.8 with great results.

Immediately after receipt, I attached the Hoya Pro-Digital clear filter and mounted the lens to my Trusted D-300. I must say that I was not surprised when the 50/1.8G produced exceptionally sharp, contrasty Images at full (F/1.8) Aperture in very low light... Nikkor performance that I have come to expect over the last 50 years of Nikon ownership. Another Nikon Optical Winner.

I have been Nikon Pro digital shooter since the D100. A gear ago, I attempted to go mirrorless with Lumix. 2 weeks ago I threw my hands up and went back to Nikon. I am now retired but not dead, I still want to shoot. We have a vacation home 300 miles from home, so I ordered this with the kit lenses most of my shooting is outdoors so I really don’t need fast lenses. I have them at home if I need them. The resolution and focusing on the camera is superb!

After consulting with the best camera store in Charlottesville (Pro Camera) on how to find a replacement lamp for my ancient Kodak slide projector, they recommended looking online for possible sources. My first google search brought up B&H in NYC. Ironically I had previous experience with B&H; in the early 2000’s my wife was attending graduate school in NYC and I would travel up on weekends to visit. I was enchanted with NYC and, given my interest in the newly emerging digital cameras, B&H was like a camera lover’s heaven. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about all the new offerings, and I felt very confident in their recommendations. Having used a Minolta SRT 101 for years for color slides, I was anxious to jump into the digital world, and I bought an Olympus Stylus 1000, which I still use today, more than 20 years later. For me, B&H is the ultimate camera source.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

I love the pro mist look, it’s a fantastic way to ad a filmic quality to a digital camera and give a great look to a cheep lens. I think 1/4 stop is a tad too strong for just screwing it into a lens for something like a short film or music video, if that’s your intended purpose I’d recommend the 1/8

I purchased to use with Olympus PRF-D40.5 LENS FILTER PRO on my Olympus TG-4 DIGITAL CAMERA. It works perfectly.

I have used Canon products for years and this is my fifth Canon digital camera. I have always wanted a pro model and finally took the plunge and I couldn't be happier. This is an excellent sports camera as well as using it for landscape and portrait shots. My grandkids won't outrun this baby!

Getting back into digital photography has brought me to this camera and I love what this product can do!! There are so many features on this camera that you can practice with and learn a lot! What made me get this camera over a Nikon or Cannon is that I can get much more camera for the same amount of money. This camera by far out does an entry level and mid level Canon or Nikon and that really caught my attention. There are also several professionals out there that are getting fantastic results using this camera and cameras like it. You cannot go wrong in buying this camera! It does everything!!
