Nikon Professional Cameras D850

While I'm not a professional photographer, I have been shooting with Nikon cameras since 1985. I moved to the D850 from a D750 ( which in it's own right is a very capable camera ) While I cannot throw out a bunch of stats about the D850 I can tell you that there is something very special about this camera, I have mine paired with a 70-200mm2.8e FL ED VR lens and my photography has gone to new level. I guarantee you will not regret the move to the D850 !!! 5 |

I prefer this camera to any other Nikon Cameras! I have D850, D750 and this is the camera I keep in my bag! You can pay more, but you can' but better! 5 |

I purchased a new Nikon D850 and one of the first things that I normally purchase is a body plate. RRS makes some of the best and I have them on most of my cameras. 5 |

Switched from Canon 5D MarkIV to Nikon D850. I am not a professional photographer but learning to get good a it. So far I am very impressed with camera. I still learning the Nikon feature and operations of the camera. I am happy with the switching of brand. 5 |

I'm a professional photographer who has been using the Nikon 500mm f/4 FL as my go to lens. A friend commented to me that she was using the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary with great success, loving the portability and image quality. Wanting a zoom, but not able to justify the cost of the Nikon 180-400, I bought the Sigma. After tuning it to my D850 with the included dock, I took it out for a test drive. I was so pleased with the results, I haven't used the 500 since. One caveat - the images with teleconverter are not impressive at all. But, the 600mm reach is usually sufficient, especially in conjunction with the D850. If you buy this lens, I can't stress enough the importance of using the dock to tune it to your camera - it makes all the difference! 5 |

I am a bit of a Nikon fan, I admit. I have used Nikon cameras since about 1976. The D850 is easily my favorite. It IS a heavy beast but that is an advantage because it takes the shakes out. It is also built like a tank. I do baby my cameras but I did accidentally drop this one from about 4ft onto a cement floor. It was in a camera bag but the lens on it was pretty badly damaged. The body was unharmed. Aside from it's mechanical features, the D850 takes outstanding photos. I have included one here but it is only a sample. I have had the camera for years and have been very happy with the color, bit depth, and resolution. I liked it so much I bought a second one. 5 |

Being a Fine Art Photographer I've used Medium Format 6x7 film cameras for 20+ years. Then four years ago I decided to add the Nikon D750 camera. I started using a digital-hybrid workflow. Recently, I purchased the Nikon D850 camera and I've been Blown Away by the images. The Monochrome images are equal to or surpass images that I get from my 6x7 cameras. The Nikon D850 is more than capable of capturing anything I want to create. I know a lot of people are going mirrorless, but I'm more than happy that I purchased the Nikon D850. It's a pure dream to own. It's built to last a long time. 5 |
