Nikon S32 Waterproof Camera Target

I use a Nikon 2.8/300mm with an extender sometimes. My camera is a Nikon D80.I was using a Giottos MH1300 ball head and was not very happy with it, especially when shooting up or down at an angle. It was hard to get it to stop at the point that I wanted. I had to aim above my target and try to guess how far it would shift. With the 393 it stays right where I want it and if my target moves it's very easy to follow. 5 |

Getting into a hobby of bird photographe . Watching the target through the camera eye piece with a heavy lense was no fun . Nikon 12 25 binoculars are very light in weight and good to track birds at a comfortable range . My lense for clicking photo is 200mm - 500 mm Nikon . So this binocular works wonder for tracking and then going close and clicking through my lense . 5 |

I went through a bunch of lenses and it worked quite well. The install is easy enough but you do need to figure out the proper distance from camera to target based on focal length. Once you that it is pretty easy to setup the shot on the target and adjust until you get a green check mark meaning you are aimed properly then start the test. It talks to you if you need to do anything. With Nikon you need to manually set the tune values as you go through the test and at the end. Nikon does not support software control for that one step. Some Canon cameras you sit back and drink a beer. In between it does it all and makes nice charts graphs and pictures with all sorts of fun numbers. The reason you go through all this stuff is because you may have a lens that was out of tune and doing poor focus. I had one and after tuning it was deadly sharp. So who wouldn't like that? My best lenses were just a tad plus or minus 1 but why not get them better? The mechanics of setting up the target with decent light is the only hard part. I also bought a long tether cable (from someone else) as this works better on a laptop than a desktop so with a desktop you need flexibility and the distance to the target. If you need a long focal length calibrated that can be a an issue but is the same for any software. 50 times the focal length is the distance give or take. For zooms the short end works but you could do both and then average. It knows what lens is attached so it tells you if you pick in the middle, but it is just a warning. A plus with the Pro version is it compares your results with other camera / lens combinations like yours. It just feels so nice to know you are better off than someone. Tripod is REQUIRED! Don't even think about it without one. It's not a con just is what it is. 5 |

I purchased this waterproof case to take my Nikon D90 up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. It kept my camera dry and I got some decent shots. Since the camera was not completely submerged in water, I got water droplets on the lens. Some photos didn't turn out because of that. Also, you have to be sure to hold the lens cover tight to your camera or you will get the case in your shots. Overall very worth it, especially for the price! 5 |

Attached this to a Nikon AW110 waterproof camera for a trip last week to St. Croix, and while the camera itself was a huge disappointment, the floating strap was perfect. 5 |
