Nikon S9900 Digital Camera

The Nikon S9900 pocket camera has such a large lens opening that, when retracted, exposes blades the size of a quarter. I wanted a lens cap to protect the delicate blades and the 58mm Kaiser filled the bill with a perfect fit. And it's snug, not tight, so if the camera is powered up with the lens cap still on, the lens will just pop it off. I added a velcro tether to it and the camera body so I wouldn't lose it.

I have a Nikon S9900 and a Panasonic Lumix ZS50 that do not fit in many pouches, but do fit nicely in my CS20 pouch. The pouch is also padded which gives the the camera some protection.

I'm using it inside a sports car for track images and video with a Nikon S9900. Very compact, well made, good adjustability. Secure mounting to glass, not sure if I'd trust it outside without a tether.

This is so well designed, well engineered, and SO tiny. Works well with my Nikon S9900. Just have to have the legs positioned right (easy to do)because the camera post is way offset and it tips over otherwise. Not a problem at all.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

Getting back into digital photography has brought me to this camera and I love what this product can do!! There are so many features on this camera that you can practice with and learn a lot! What made me get this camera over a Nikon or Cannon is that I can get much more camera for the same amount of money. This camera by far out does an entry level and mid level Canon or Nikon and that really caught my attention. There are also several professionals out there that are getting fantastic results using this camera and cameras like it. You cannot go wrong in buying this camera! It does everything!!

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old.

Bought this cable to go from my Nikon D4 DSLR camera and the off-camera digital recorder. So far it works perfectly and seems to provide good strain relief. It's a nice short length so it doesn't get in the way of anything!
