Nikon Waterproof Camera Repair

Tool works very well on repair of my Nikon.

Two years ago I purchased a set of Fujinon 12x28 binoculars. I loved them but really wanted more power for whale watching (Hawaii) so purchased a 16x28 pair last year. They were even better than the 12x28s; an ounce or two heavier but well worth that as the extra magnification was great, image was just as sharp, they were light and compact for travel and they were really steady to hold. I was originally concerned that the higher magnification might give me a narrower field of view but have not noticed that. Unfortunately I dropped my 16x28s (could have avoided that if I had used the neck strap that came with them) and did some internal damage which was going to require them to be shipped to Japan for repair. I originally only had two criticisms of both my pairs of Fujinons: they weren't waterproof and they had no objective lens cover. When I learned that this year's models are waterproof, I decided it was worth it to purchase a new pair for use on a boat or in the rain rather than pay to repair the old ones. Still no objective lens cover but everything else is great and they are so much lighter than any of the other options that I have seen.

will avoid you a costly repair if you use a Nikon D810

I purchased this waterproof case to take my Nikon D90 up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. It kept my camera dry and I got some decent shots. Since the camera was not completely submerged in water, I got water droplets on the lens. Some photos didn't turn out because of that. Also, you have to be sure to hold the lens cover tight to your camera or you will get the case in your shots. Overall very worth it, especially for the price!

Attached this to a Nikon AW110 waterproof camera for a trip last week to St. Croix, and while the camera itself was a huge disappointment, the floating strap was perfect.

I have this product on three Nikon 1 series cameras as well as several waterproof binoculars.

I've been having some intermittent issues with my Nikon SB-700 strobe. I was quoted $129 cost to repair the unit at a authorized Nikon service center near my home. Rather than spend the money on the repair, I was able to purchase the new Yongnuo YN968NII speedlite, which has proven to be a fabulous unit. I offers a strong GN along with all of the functionality I was able to use in the Nikon unit. HIGHLY recommended.

Bought this body because my full sized Nikon was in for repair. It also replaces a P7800. The more I used it the more familiar it started to feel. It has turned to be the perfect travel & daily carry camera even using the FTZ adapter and the F series lenses. Will use it for everything but sports, wildlife.
