Nikon Waterproof Family Camera

I purchased this waterproof case to take my Nikon D90 up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. It kept my camera dry and I got some decent shots. Since the camera was not completely submerged in water, I got water droplets on the lens. Some photos didn't turn out because of that. Also, you have to be sure to hold the lens cover tight to your camera or you will get the case in your shots. Overall very worth it, especially for the price!

Attached this to a Nikon AW110 waterproof camera for a trip last week to St. Croix, and while the camera itself was a huge disappointment, the floating strap was perfect.

I have this product on three Nikon 1 series cameras as well as several waterproof binoculars.

I purchased this camera primarily for use as a family camera to do double duty as a video camera and to be used for mostly family photos, etc. So far its been really convenient, the camera has worked wonderfully both for video and stills. To be honest there are more features than I'll likely use, yet I don't feel completely overwhelmed when using it. The camera is user friendly. I've owned DSLRs in the past that were less so. For me this camera has everything we needed and I feel like it will last me several years as it has great resolution, 1080 video, and the awesome versatility of the Canon lens and accessory selection. I actually initially purchased a Nikon D3100 over the holidays ... and ultimately returned it. Nothing against the camera it worked well too but there just didn't seem to be the accessory selection (a decent shutter remote, etc.) that this camera does and also some of the lenses I was interested in where substantially higher in price. So after crunching the numbers we realized that going with the T2i was going to be essentially cheaper. Granted we have six lenses for it now so that probably wouldn't be the case had we not been looking to do so. The Nikon did seem better in low light settings I have to say, but its not like this camera is bad in low light settings either.

I bought this for an elderly family friend who found her new Nikon Coolpix L320 was a bit difficult to handle due to the small size of the camera body and the even smaller controls. This handle attaches quickly and can be used in the up or down handle position. Having this handle attached provides a steady grip and has completely changed her experience with the camera. She loves it. This is a really nice camera accessory to have to help any seniors who might have difficulty holding and using the smaller sized cameras.

Good Camera with tough body and got waterproof

Works great with her Coolpix S30 waterproof camera.

For the money this is an excellent product to protect a camera and lens that is not waterproof.

Great product. I feel that my camera is always safe. Waterproof and lockable.
