Nikon Waterproof Gps Camera

I purchased this waterproof case to take my Nikon D90 up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. It kept my camera dry and I got some decent shots. Since the camera was not completely submerged in water, I got water droplets on the lens. Some photos didn't turn out because of that. Also, you have to be sure to hold the lens cover tight to your camera or you will get the case in your shots. Overall very worth it, especially for the price! 5 |

Attached this to a Nikon AW110 waterproof camera for a trip last week to St. Croix, and while the camera itself was a huge disappointment, the floating strap was perfect. 5 |

I use this along with my Nikon GP-1 GPS. It works as advertised. Must have if you want to use a cable release with the GP-1. 5 |

I have been reading the reviews on the Nikon D5 vs. Canon 1DxII number of shots and for me it is an edge case where I may wish I had the D5's battery life. For most shooting having 2 - 5 batteries will more than suffice for a days worth of shooting. Yes, sports photographers have a stronger argument for a long lasting battery, and maybe this will sway some of you to Nikon, but things ebb and flow between Nikon and Canon. However I am reading reviews of folks getting 4000 shots on a battery with no GPS, no liveview and no movie recording. Overall I am very happy with the battery life I am getting. I am mostly doing Wedding, Architectural, and Landscape photography, and have yet to get to a second battery. I haven't pushed the battery to it's max yet and am seeing 4 bars on the camera after 1000 photos with no GPS. Will repost as I gather more data. 5 |

Got this to use with my Nikon and an Unleashed GPS receiver unit since it takes up the 10-pin connector eliminating a Nikon release. 5 |

I am not one for shooting anything on an iPhone I plan to publish. However having two Nikon early FX cameras. The GPS attachment might be worth more than the used value of the GPS unit(s). So a trick I learned here on the B&H forums pays off. When I change a Geographic locations I just take a shot, with my iPhone, in that area after about 10 min. Once imported into Light Room the other photos can be associated to the iPhone Geotag Data. Finding no joy in dropping my Phone I got this and attached it to a Purpose Built Handle which was designed for threading into Lens L brackets when a Tripod or Monopod just isn't fast enough or practical... 5 |
