I was nikon shooter before and mainly did landscape photography. I was contemplating for moving to mirrorless system from sometimes. After much research, I found Sony a7iv to meet all of my photography need and still keep some room for learning new skills like videography. I happy to say I did this decision. The images coming from this camera are top notch and high iso performance blew my mind away. Auto focus is something I haven't seen before. It surprised me how quickly it focus. I think i will be new Sony alpha fan boy from now. Fully recommend this camera. Also, B&H service is amazing. 5 |

This lens fulfilled my expectations! It is very sharp on my Nikon D500 camera I use for wildlife photography. It is worth every penny. 5 |

I plan to use this mostly for bird and wildlife photography because the combination of crop sensor and 20 MP gives me a pretty long reach. I first tested it with my Nikon 80-400 zoom plus TC14 teleconverter and was at first disappointed that the autofocus wasn't accurate with that combination. (it was sharp when I manually focused, so the problem was the focus, not the optics). Then I did the AF-finetune and presto it fixed the problem. That has to be the best new feature of the camera. I also like the articulating LCD screen for taking shots at high or low angles. I've only had the camera for a few days so my tests have been in the back yard; I haven't taken any real shots with it yet, but I am looking forward to doing so. A few of the controls, obviously, are different than on my Nikon D610, which will require some adjustment on my part. 5 |

Using this lens for wildlife photography to capture bald eagles on a nest that is 300 to 400 yards away. Use a Nikon D3x and Nikon 1.4 teleconverter and photos are crisp and clear. Lens is supported with a Wimberley WH101 Head w/quick release and Giottos Aluminum 3-sec Tripod. Teleconverter produces a 860mm lens. Auto focus is quick and acurate. Right now I keep the camera attached to the lens and have built a craddle for the lens/camera combination to take weight off camera. My previous big lens was a Nikon 200-400mm f/4 G AFS VR. The Telephoto AF-S Nikkor 600mm f/4 G ED VR Autofocus Lens is well worth the price. It is one supper lens for wildlife. I am staff photographer for the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and am going to use this lens with a lot more wildlife. 5 |

Great Camera! Great B and H service! I upgraded from a Nikon D5600 for wildlife and bird photography. Faster focusing, faster frames per second, weather proofing and more features...What's not to love! Oh yeah, and higher keeper rate! Don't let the fewer megapixels fool you, pictures are Just as sharp as the 24 megapixel D5600 (see attached Picture). Great camera and great value! Thanks B and H for the fast service (2 days) and everything securely packaged. 5 |

I'm an amateur photographer, growing into my Nikon Z5 and the mirrorless world. I wanted a telephoto with decent enough reach and performance for me to capture the birds and wildlife in my backyard and on nature hikes. This fits the bill! It doesn't weigh a lot as I walk in the field. The depth of field performance actually helps me focus on the wildlife with some nice bokeh. I don't need the highest-quality sharpness or for everything to be automatic at this stage of my hobby life, and my budget is limited. In short, I've taken some good photos with this lens for my birding record and artistic use with this affordable option. I'm extremely pleased. 5 |
