I’m so happy these are finally for sale! I’ve been an Atomos Ninja V user for years and after upgrading to the new Ninja (Camo-version) it came with ONE of these newer “cages.” But for months I would email Atomos support for them to please let us buy more of these to no avail. See the older Master Caddy II’s would be a full-on plastic housing that would cover up the whole SSD, but this newer version screws on to the sides and protects the SSD like a camera cage would. It lets the drives breathe~ Anyways super stoked to get my hands on these, since I usually run with several Samsung 870 EVO 4TB drives so I don’t always have to unload the footage immediately after each shoot. I’m telling you, Atomos has got their groove back! 5 |

For the on sale price this is an excellent bag. I am using it for portable radio equipment and antennas. A lot of room and it works for my purposes. No, it does not stand up on its own, but that is not a problem for me. 5 |
