Nintendo Switch Dock With Ethernet Port

I got this to connect my laptop to a Ethernet switch. It also ended up working fory Nintendo Switch. Works well.

I bought this because I could not find a Nintendo Switch dock in stock anywhere. I initially had issues with no display, but here is how to fix: 1. You truly do need an official Nintendo Switch power supply 2. Head to ioGear's website and download the firmware update 3. Plug the dock into a PC and update the firmware The dock should then work with your Switch! It works great! It also works great with an iPad Pro to charge and output to HDMI on a projector. For the price this little dock is perfect. The plastic does feel a little cheap, and lightweight, but it does the job well!

I'm using this in a nintendo switch and have had no issues so far.

I'm not sure what else I could ask for in a dock. The only issue I've ran into was an issue using the ethernet port which was a simple fix in my network settings.

Pug and play, simply as that. My mesh WiFi router has only two ethernet port. This switch solved the problem to hard-wire my Roku box, play stations etc., to the router

The switch replaced an old 8-port switch I was using. The new switch was easy to set up and begin using. Almost too easy. There was only a quick start guide with limited information. I wanted more technical information, but as it turned out I really didn't need more technical information. The switch just works with no special configuration or Ethernet connector placement for LAN connectivity. Good choice if you need lots of Ethernet ports.

This ethernet switch is really versatile. It has software that allows you to control each port as you wish and that works well. The real convenience is that none of that is necessary. Just plug everything in live and it all works as it should with no intervention on your part. I use one in the house and one in my granddaughter's dorm room. It's like a swiss army multiple tap extension cord for ethernet.

Nice little POE powered switch, that also provides POE power to the output ethernet ports. Just be sure you know the maximum watt per port on the switch feeding the power to this switch, and be aware that this switch itself uses some power (around 5w if I recall correctly). Also, keep any eye on the maximum watt usage of clients you connect, e.g. my security cameras use roughly double the power when they turn on IR lights at night. (~3w daytime, 5+ in the dark) A nice addition to the Unifi collection, plug in, adopt, we're online, and with information about power use on every port, etc.
