Working from home our Wifi out on our deck was always spotty and very slow. I got this and a POE outdoor switch to ethernet back to my router inside. The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. We now can stream 4K movies outside. Oh yeah and we can work too. 5 |

This is my first switch. I purchased so that I could use ethernet for my computer, my Synology NAS, other peripherals instead of WiFi. I purchased this model so that I could eventually set up 10Gbe connection for my NAS. I wanted to set up static IP addresses. Although it took a call to NetGear to set up, I was happy that they had very responsive and great support for this first time user. The unit is solid/metal and a nice compact size. I needed a fanless ethernet switch with PoE+ for cameras and WiFi access points. This does the job well. I like that all ports can do PoE and that the unit is small. It comes with mounting screws and even rack mount ears. 5 |
