The touch screen is too small to operate the tilt function. You wont be able to do smooth tilts or pans with this camera unless you get this controller wheel. I received the Osmo Pocket for Xmas and have used it everyday since for work. this controller wheel makes manipulating the position of the head possible and I highly recommend it for the Osmo Pocket 5 |

Much improved ergonomics (touch screen, smart controller, faster and easier to use LiveView); better focusing (more than a single focus point at f8 - but not the full 191 - 191 focus points instead of 61); virtually unlimited buffer - but it won’t use your old CF cards; blindingly fast, especially in LiveView. I use it for bird photography almost exclusively, so I haven’t taken advantage of the human head recognition, but that should be a great feature for sports. A good, solid upgrade. 5 |
