The RS-C1II Wired Remote Switch by Vello works as advertised. While I haven't used it much yet it has functioned perfectly on my Pentax K-500. Just like the shutter release on the camera, the RSC1II sets the focus when the release button is partially depresses and then releases the shutter when depressed fully. The button can be locked once depressed by sliding it forward. It's a bargain! 5 |

This will be my fourth Vello wired release. It is pretty much a button switch with a mechanical lock. All four remotes (different cameras) worked as expected.) I can highly recommend this product. (This unit is sold at a amazingly low price point.) 5 |

Very well made, handy wired single button remote for switching between machines, plenty of power for USB devices. I'm using this switch to share my devices between my PC and Mac at my desk. I simply switch inputs on my monitor and press the super handy remote button included with this unit and all my devices are switched over. I had worried about how my audio interface would handle being switched between a Mac and a PC, but so far it has worked perfectly with my Scarlett 2i2. 5 |
